It's unreal how quickly the Performance Vauxhall Show seems to come around each year.
This’ll be my fourth since stepping into the wheelhouse of the good ship Total Vauxhall: the
very publication that launched the ultimate Vauxhall event.
The show mirrors the content of the magazine, which is why it gets bigger and better every
year. And whether you’re into performance, styling or both, if you want it with a Vauxhall bent,
then Santa Pod on the first weekend in June is your holy Mecca.
The diversity of the Performance Vauxhall scene is immense, and only at the PV Show do
you see all walks represented together. Clubs turn out in force, with all cars represented,
from the old rear-wheel drive Magnums and rally-bred HS/R Chevettes of the Droop Snoot
Group, to VXR variants of Astra, Monaro, Vectra, Zafira and Corsa.

|
The finest from each of their ranks are assembled for the Best Club Car competition during
the afternoon, and throughout the day there’s plenty to see and do, as many of the
aforementioned battle it out up Santa Pod’s legendary quarter-mile drag strip.
You can expect bargains too, as many of Total Vauxhall’s advertisers assemble throughout
a maze of trade stands to offer knock-down prices on all sorts of goodies, from body kits,
ICE, wheels and interior styling products, to performance engine components, brake
upgrades and uprated suspension. If the PV Show isn’t on your agenda this year, then you
really haven’t got that much going on!
Over coming months, Total Vauxhall has a great line-up of exclusive interviews, photo
shoots and the latest news to keep you up to date with all the latest happenings at this year’s
